As a STEEL RECEIVING / SAW OPERATOR you will be required to manage the incoming receiving of all raw materials, such as steel and aluminum stock, for the company. This position is responsible for the accuracy of the raw material inventory and allocation of it through the factory.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER:

Position would put the candidate into all aspects of machine design.  Concept, detail, assembly designs, manufacturing and product testing.  Be a part of a dynamic design team driving the market of automatic machinery for wire, cable, tubing and fiber optics.

Candidates should have experience in machine design. Proficient use of AutoCAD, Inventor (or Solidworks) and understanding of standard drafting practice is necessary. Ability to engineer machine designs and modification of existing designs to meet customer specifications is required. A BS degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, along with industrial/machine shop experience.

Electrical Engineering Intern: Position would expose the candidate to a variety of aspects of machinery automation controls such as design, programming, and product testing. Work with a small but dynamic engineering team driving the market of automatic machinery for wire, cable, tubing and fiber optics. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related degree program. Will gain experience with automation control systems for industrial machinery by working with AutoCAD, electrical schematics for control panels, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and AC and DC variable speed drives. As an INSPECTION TOOL CRIB TECHNICIAN, you will be asked to perform several tasks supporting the efficient flow to the manufacturing floor.  Focused daily efforts on newly acquired specialty equipment for troubleshooting and supporting production efforts.  Must have willingness to learn to analyze specifications, blueprint reading, set up and operate machine tools, fit, and assemble small assemblies.

Candidates should have a background in electrical control systems for industrial machinery.  Working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.  Knowledge of electrical schematics for control panels, bills of materials, AC/DC variable speed drives, HMIs and programmable controllers is a plus.  Wire and cable industry knowledge is a plus. A minimum of an associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology is required.  Industrial experience is preferred. As a MACHINE ASSEMBLER you will be asked to perform assembly of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, custom design mechanical assemblies.  Set up and operate machine tools, fit and assemble parts, work concurrently with electrical technicians, and accountability for the finished quality of the machine through shipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include: Mechanical assembly of custom machinery. Be able to perform troubleshooting activities if needed. Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished assemblies for conformance to specifications. Demonstrate the ability to learn how to interpret blueprints, sketches, models, or specifications to plan sequences of mechanical assembly. Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, gauges using machine tools and small hand tools. File, grind, shim, and adjust different parts to properly fit them together. Lift, position, and secure machined parts and large assemblies using hoists, fork trucks or other proper lifting devices according to company safety standards. Working constructively with mechanical and electrical engineers to troubleshoot assemblies. Willingness to perform a variety of tasks and relocate to different production areas as need of the business changes. Need the ability to be Fork Truck Certified.

As an INDUSTRIAL PAINTER you will be required to oversee the initial beginning and final paint and prep of all our industrial equipment from the early stages of manufacture to the final completion. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include: Engaging in proper steel surface preparation utilizing company provided tooling and supplies such as sanding, grinding, epoxy, primers, accelerators and enamel paints.  Masking off surrounding machine parts and surfaces to prevent over-spray and damage with a multi-color paint scheme. Proficient in high-volume spraying of industrial-grade paints utilizing spray guns and spray booths.
